We are hiring for a Billing / Accounts Receivable Specialist for a permanent, hybrid role in Reading, PA. In this role you will work independently to manage your own accounts, billing timely, and perform collection calls, while managing aging and providing back up to other teammates as needed. The ideal candidate will be able to organize tasks and prioritize workload to meet deadlines, have strong attention to detail , integrity, and problem-solving skills, with a mind for confidentiality and accuracy. Responsibilities:
- Review and prepare invoices, ensuring accuracy and completeness of billing data.
- Manage AR customer file to ensure customers are set up properly.
- Reconcile customer accounts and aging by following up on outstanding invoices, ensuring timely payment from clients.
- Respond to client inquiries regarding billing and payments.
- Monitor customers credit worthiness.
- Provide excellent customer service to customers and other stakeholders.
- Provide supporting documentation for audits.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in office setting, with accounting, billing, or Accounts Receivable experience required.
- Competency in Excel and Outlook required.
- Experience in Manufacturing or Construction industry a plus
- Experience with ERP software a plus.
