Location: Boston, MA
Compensation: $100,000 – $140,000/year
Schedule: 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, Monday to FridayResponsibilities as the Assistant Controller:
- Team Management: Supervise a team of 5 staff members, ensuring efficient bank reconciliations, financial analysis, and budgeting.
- Financial Accuracy: Maintain accurate property rent rolls, financial reports, budgets, and cash projections.
- HR Support: Assist with HR-related duties.
- Project Management: Handle ad hoc accounting and financial projects as needed.
- Reporting: Present financials confidently and effectively.
- Experience: At least (1) of the following:
- Construction accounting
- Residential real estate accounting
- Commercial real estate accounting
- Public accounting
- Management Skills: Ability to manage and oversee a team.
- Independent Work: Ability to work independently with strong communication skills.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficient in financial software systems and Microsoft Windows programs; Yardi experience is a plus.
