Assistant Construction Superintendent
My client is looking for an Assistant Construction Superintendent to join their team! This role is an onsite role based out of the Roslindale area, and there is travel to job sites via a company provided vehicle and gas card. Many of our projects occur in the Greater-Boston area.
Responsibilities:
- As an Assistant Construction Superintendent, you are directly involved in all operational processes for heavy highway, road construction and civil construction projects.
- In collaboration with the Superintendent and Project Manager, you will support the direction of project resources to maintain schedule and production.
- This role will require critical real-time problem solving to maintain contract compliance and quality control.
- You will be expected to represent the project and company’s interests to Engineers, Owners, and Inspectors.
- Your success in this role will be supported through continuing education and training to further develop your career path. You will have results driven advancement opportunities as your scorecard and experience expands.
Required Experience:
- (1-4) years in heavy highway, road construction leadership, supervisory role or assistant superintendent role.
- OSHA 10
- Construction Management or Civil Engineering Degree Preferred
- Valid Driver’s License
- Experience in construction
- Need to be able to thrive in a High Performance Work Environment, Self-Motivating, Problem Solving Culture.
