Position Summary: The Senior Financial Analyst with Workday experience will play a key role in supporting the financial planning, analysis, and reporting functions within the organization. This role requires a high level of analytical ability, attention to detail, and experience with Workday Financial Management. The Senior Financial Analyst will work closely with various departments to provide financial insights and support strategic decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

Financial Planning & Analysis:

• Develop and maintain financial models to support budgeting, forecasting, and long-term planning.
• Analyze financial performance against forecasts and budgets, identifying trends, variances, and opportunities for improvement.
• Prepare and present comprehensive financial reports to senior management and stakeholders.

Workday Financial Management:

• Utilize Workday Financial Management tools to streamline financial processes and improve data accuracy.
• Maintain and update financial data within the Workday system, ensuring data integrity and compliance.
• Provide training and support to finance team members on Workday functionalities.

Reporting:

• Generate monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements and reports.
• Develop and produce ad-hoc reports as needed to support business initiatives and decision-making.
• Ensure compliance with accounting standards and regulatory requirements in all financial reporting.

Business Partnering:

• Collaborate with department heads and project managers to provide financial insights and support.
• Assist in the development of business cases, financial models, and cost-benefit analyses for new projects and initiatives.
• Support the finance team in preparing for audits and other compliance activities.

Process Improvement:

• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the finance function.
• Leverage Workday features to automate routine tasks and improve data analysis capabilities.
• Stay current with industry best practices and Workday updates to optimize the use of the system.

Qualifications:

• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or related field
• Experience: Minimum of 4 - 5 years of experience in financial analysis, planning, and reporting, with at least 2 years of experience using Workday Financial Management.
• Technical Skills: Proficiency in Workday Financial Management, advanced Excel skills, and familiarity with financial modeling and data analysis tools. Workday experience REQUIRED
