Job Overview - Staff Accountant:
Our client is in the midst of expansion and is currently seeking a Staff Accountant to join their thriving business. In this role, you will be a pivotal figure in upholding their financial integrity by handling tasks such as preparing balance sheet reconciliations, profit and loss statements, and other critical financial reports. Your adept analytical skills will be put to use as you assess trends, costs, revenues, financial commitments, and obligations to offer valuable foresight into future outcomes.

Compensation: $55,000.00 - $65,000.00 bonus

Responsibilities of the Staff Accountant include:
- Analyzing and maintaining supporting documentation for balance sheet accounts
- Compiling and analyzing financial information to accurately prepare entries for accounts, including general ledger accounts, and thoroughly document business transactions
- Monitoring and reviewing accounting and related system reports to ensure precision and completeness
- Resolving accounting discrepancies and discrepancies
- Collaborating with team members to identify information needs and ensure timely deliverables
- Providing valuable financial analysis support to various departments
- Engaging with external auditors to facilitate audit completion
Requirements for the Staff Accountant include:
- A Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Accounting internship experience is preferred
- Proficiency with relevant accounting software is a plus
