Description

The Talent Acquisition Coordinator supports recruiting efforts for the organization by providing a best-in-class candidate experience to all external and internal candidates.

The responsibilities of the Talent Acquisition Coordinator include, but are not limited to:

  • Completes candidate pre-screenings on specific positions. Provides screening details and candidate information to respective hiring manager;
  • Ensures compliance within all aspects of the candidate review, onboarding, and selection processes;
  • Facilitates new employee first day HR onboarding session;
  • Posts job openings on Paycom HRIS and promotes on job platforms;
  • When required, schedules interviews for hiring managers and candidates, communicates interview questions and agenda, if applicable;
  • Ensures consistent communication to candidates, including updates, rejections, feedback, and requests for additional information. Prioritizes responsiveness to candidates;
  • Consistently reviews application queue in Paycom HRIS and responds on applications;
  • Follows up with hiring managers for statuses, outcomes, and next steps pertaining to candidates. Promotes efficiency and prompt turnaround times;
  • Provides verbal and written offers on specific positions as requested;
  • Follows up with candidates as needed for required or missing information;
  • Attends career fairs and events to promote AMI employment opportunities;
  • Updates and maintains job description database. Regularly follows up for changes and updates job descriptions. Collaborates with management team to ensure appropriate job description information;
  • Enters appropriate talent acquisition changes and information in the Paycom HRIS platform;
  • Receives training in Paycom reporting and generates reports as required;
  • Travels to other AMI offices as needed;
  • Facilitates pre-employment onboarding processes for external candidates when needed;
  • Ensures appropriate credentialing of licensed and registered new employees and transfers based on the position requirements;
  • Participates in Human Resources projects and duties as assigned; and
  • Other responsibilities as needed.

The work schedule for this full time, 40 hour per week position includes Monday-Friday 8am-4:30pm or 8:30am-5pm. Schedules are subject to change based on business needs.

Qualifications


Eligible candidates have an Associate's Degree or have completed some college coursework. Knowledge of Human Resources best practices, state and federal employment laws, and regulations are required for success in this position. Experience within the healthcare industry or medical field is a plus. Qualified candidates must demonstrate the ability to work and communicate effectively in a fast-paced environment, where customer service, compliance, and responsiveness are top priorities.

Public speaking and presenting are required within this position and candidates must be comfortable speaking within various group settings, sizes, and environments. Candidates must have exceptional verbal communication and interpersonal skills. Exceptional written communication skills, including a strong understanding of punctuation and grammar, are required for success in this position. Candidates must have the ability to proofread and detect errors for correction.

Interested candidates should have a strong proficiency in Microsoft Word & Excel, the ability to learn new HRIS systems, and navigate job platforms.
