Our direct client is seeking a Team Lead for a full-time direct hire opportunity. Reporting to the Manager of Infrastructure Services, the Team Lead is the lead engineer and architect for the company's server & storage environment. This includes the planning, design, implementation, and support of all BackOffice services and technologies, which include server, storage, virtualization, Active Directory, data protection and recovery components.
This Team Lead is responsible for executing projects and efforts pertinent to achieving company goals and objectives. The Team Lead recommends and implements new technologies and processes to improve workflow and processes, while reducing downtime and costs. The Team Lead works with the Manager of Infrastructure Services to develop and execute team strategy, assess and report on project workloads and tasks, recognize and act upon opportunities for preventive and proactive maintenance, and report infrastructure growth and requirements changes.
Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree required, preferably in computer science or similar area of study
• Minimum 8 years of experience in server architecture, design, implementation, and operation.
• Minimum 4 years of experience working in a high availability environment
• Minimum 2 years of demonstrated experience in a senior technologist role
• Minimum 4 years of experience with VMWare, Citrix and SAN storage

Required Experience

• 5 years of hands on engineering level experience with Active Directory Administration. This includes AD troubleshooting and design skills.
• Strong, demonstrable experience with the following: EMC VNX and Isilon, Cisco UCS, Microsoft Server 2016/2012/2008, Active Directory, infrastructure security, networking, backup and disaster recovery processes & methodologies

• Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.

• Strong, demonstrable experience implementing and supporting HIS within a hospital / health system is preferred
• Strong project management skills/experience is required
