We are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team as a Seasonal Food Truck Staff. If you have a passion for the food industry and enjoy providing excellent customer service, this role is perfect for you.

Responsibilities

• Prep and assemble food
• Restock supplies
• Provide excellent customer service
• Process transactions using a Square terminal
• Cash handling
• Open and close register
• Open and close food truck

Requirements:

• Previous experience in culinary, restaurant, or grocery store settings is preferred
• Basic math skills for cash handling and transactions
• Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures. Prior Food Service certification a plus!
• Self-starter and able to work independently with minimal supervision
• Strong communication skills and customer-oriented approach
• Familiarity with operating a cash register is a plus
• Must have availability to work weekends

Special Consideration

As a valuable team member, you will receive 5% of all net sales from the food truck

This job is expected to be through the summer. We are located right near the Block Island Ferry, and encourage college students looking for rewarding work this summer!

Job Types: Full-time, Seasonal

Expected hours: 40 per week
