Atlantic Southern Paving & Sealcoating is Hiring a Bilingual Regional Human Resources Specialist Near Grand Prairie, TX

Atlantic Southern Paving and Sealcoating, an established business for over 25 years, serves as a prominent national commercial paving company, centrally located in South Florida.
Atlantic Southern Paving is looking for a Regional HR Specialist to join our Family of Companies. As the Regional HR Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in overseeing human resources functions across multiple companies within our family of companies. This position will be responsible for ensuring HR policies and procedures are implemented consistently and effectively across all organizations.
Some responsibilities will include:
  • Develop and implement HR policies and procedures tailored to each company within the region, ensuring compliance with legal requirements and company standards.
  • Offer guidance and assistance to management teams regarding HR-related matters.
  • Collaborate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs and oversee the recruitment process.
  • Conduct interviews and participate in the selection process for key positions within the region.
  • Serve as an advisor to employees and management on HR-related issues, fostering a culture of open communication.
  • Address employee concerns and grievances promptly and confidentially.
  • Administer employee background checks, MVR checks, and drug tests, ensuring compliance with the FCRA when applicable.
  • Manage and process company payroll on a weekly basis, including handling 401(k) contributions.
  • Perform routine tasks required to administer and execute human resources programs including but not limited to compensation, benefits, leave, disciplinary matters, investigations, productivity, and safety.
  • Maintain, monitor, and report on all workers' compensation cases, incidents, and follow-ups on outstanding cases.
  • Assist in the processing of terminations as needed.
  • Organize and coordinate quarterly company events.
  • Provide support for additional projects as required to bolster HR and organizational initiatives across all locations.
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned by management to support the overall objectives of the HR department and the organization.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources Management, Business Administration, or related field.
  • At least four years of progressive HR experience.
  • Extensive knowledge of employment laws and regulations.
  • Experience working with ADP Workforce Now is preferred.
  • Bilingual in Spanish is required.
  • 30% Travel is required for the role.
