Atlantic Squared Supply is Hiring an Onboarding Specialist Near Greenville, SC

The Onboarding Specialist will be responsible for managing the onboarding process for all new hires and providing a excellent candidate experience from offer acceptance until their first day of work. The Onboarding Specialist will manage the interview and onboarding process for both hourly and salaried positions by utilizing the applicant tracking system, job boards, and employee referrals. The ideal candidate must have experience onboarding for a wide variety of positions and be able to multi-task.


ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS

  • Monitor the completion of the pre-employment screenings and onboarding paperwork
  • Source and attract candidates through various channels, including job boards, social media, professional networks, and referrals
  • Assist with managing the applicant tracking system (ATS), provide support and training to supervisors and manager when necessary, and manage the flow of candidates
  • Provide a positive candidate experience throughout the new hire onboarding process
  • Follow up with candidates and hiring managers to obtain feedback regarding recruiting processes
  • Collect documents required for employment and creates the new employee file to meet all company requirements
  • Stay updated on industry trends and best practices in talent acquisition and bring innovative ideas to the recruiting process
  • Initiate and process I-9s, background checks, and employee hires
  • Attend and participate in college job fairs and recruiting sessions
  • Provide cross-functional HR support on an as-needed basis
  • Demonstrate a commitment to the company mission, vision, and core values.


MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or related field, or equivalent work experience required
  • 2 years of experience with recruiting strategies
  • Experience with Workforce Now ADP a plus
  • Travel as needed
  • Proven experience in developing and implementing effective recruiting strategies
  • Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, establish priorities, and accomplish goals and objectives within given timelines
  • Must be computer literate in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
  • Ability to build positive business relationships and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams
