We seek a part-time staffing assistant to work on-site at a client facility in Columbia, SC supporting our long-term employees.

This position requires twenty (20) hours per week and four (4) hours daily. We are flexible as long as you can work one of the following shifts : 7 : 00 am - 11 : 00 am, 8 : 00 am - 12 : 00 pm, or 9 : 00 am - 1 : 00 pm.

We pay weekly on Fridays. Due to business requirements, the candidate must speak, read, and write fluent English and Spanish.

Duties / Responsibilities of a Staffing Assistant :

Maintains accurate and up-to-date human resource files, records, and documentation.

Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.

Maintains the integrity and confidentiality of human resource files, records, and employee communications.

Assist with in-person interviews and recruiting needs.

Conducts or assists with new hire orientation.

Performs any other duties as assigned.

Required Skills / Abilities of a Staffing Assistant :

Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy.

Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.

Proficient with Google Workspace or related software.

Proficient with or the ability to quickly learn applicant tracking systems (ATS), human resource information systems (HRIS), and similar computer applications.

Education and Experience of a Staffing Assistant :

Bilingual : English / Spanish - REQUIRED (speak, read, and write)

Prior related office experience in an administrative or human resources role is required.

Previous experience in production, manufacturing, and / or a warehouse environment is preferred.

Physical Requirements of a Staffing Assistant :

Prolonged periods of sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

Environmental factors include exposure to noise and dust.

Pay : $14-$17 / per hour
