Atlantic Veterinary Hospital is Hiring a Veterinary Receptionist / Client Care Coordinator Near Seattle, WA

Seeking qualified candidates for veterinary receptionist/client care coordinator at a family-owned (non-corporate) busy veterinary hospital in Seattle just south of downtown. We're looking for a friendly, out-going, honest, fast-learning team player who loves people. Must possess excellent attention to detail, integrity, attendance record, emotional stability, maturity, and professional communication skills and work habits. We're hiring for can-do upbeat attitude and professional work habits - we can teach you the rest. No crawling on the floor to wrangle big dogs, cat scratches, or blood.

Responsibilities - Work under the direction of our office manager to: Meet and greet clients and their pets with upbeat, friendly demeanor. Remain calm, friendly, and level-headed during busy times and with occasional stressed clients • Check-in and weigh patients and record weight in electronic medical records system • Accurately update patient medical records and charges as you go in electronic medical records system • Answer multi-line phone system in a friendly and professional manner, assist clients in making appointments • Manage hospital snail mail and email communications throughout the day per hospital protocols • Check-out and charge clients with accurate money handling • Learning hospital client education protocols and advising clients per hospital instructions to the level of the position, or or accurately directing client question to the appropriate team member • Fulfill multiple work lists through out the day, including basic front desk re-stocking, tidying up, cleaning lobby and front office • Must be able to work on your feet for long periods, sit for long periods, kneel, bend, and safely lift up to 50#.
