Atlas Data Systems is Hiring an IT Project Manager - Marketing Technology Near Tarrytown, NY

Summary
We are seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to support the implementation and associated processes for content creation, review & approval, and digital asset management needs within the Commercial Information Technology team. The role will drive execution of a medium scale (multi-month) project to support the global marketing technology team in its efforts to ensure all claims, references, component assets, rights management & license files are populated in the company's content management platform in support of our end-end content creation process.

Specifically, this project will enhance the promotional materials management process by setting the foundation for the implementation of Modular Content. Modular Content is a concept for creating, approving, managing, and distributing content in small, reusable forms. Each module includes pre-approved blocks of content, such as product claims, references, copy, graphics, and logos. These modules are used to create marketing assets. Before Modular Content could be fully implemented and adopted, PromoMats Claims & a DAM (Digital Asset Management) solution must also be enabled. Veeva PromoMats Claims allows brand and marketing teams to store, approve, manage and utilize key messaging that will be used in promotional content.

PM will work closely with product owners, business partners and solution delivery partner(s). Project standards and processes will be followed to ensure that a well governed and controlled implementation approach is adhered to and to ensure that anticipated business objectives will be realized.

Responsibilities
  • Ensure the quality and on time delivery of technical implementation projects with supporting deliverables and artifacts
  • Drive discovery phase to gather initial requirements and business goals
  • Establish project plan and cost estimates and manage delivery to ensure that goals and value proposition are met in line with original estimates
  • Oversee 3 rd party vendor resources to deliver on day-to-day execution of project tasks
  • Schedule all relevant meetings, reviews, deliverables, and approvals
  • Create and distribute detailed meeting minutes including discussion items, action items, next steps, and follow-up frequently through task and RAID (Risks, Actions, Issues and Decision) completion
  • Provide project status, anticipate challenges, communicate dependencies, and work collaboratively with team members to qualify and resolve issues and risks
  • Maintain accurate and timely updates of project health and status in our enterprise PPM tool
  • Collaborate with business and technical teams to provide consistent and collaborative project delivery
Requirements

Minimum Knowledge and Experience
  • 5-8 years of hands-on experience delivering commercial IT projects either using agile or waterfall-based delivery approaches
  • A track record of high quality, successful, complex, on time and on budget delivery of projects
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with commercial business partners
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively organize and motivate cross functional teams
  • Experience commanding status meetings and effectively holding team members accountable for deliverables and timely escalation of blockers
  • Ability to actively anticipate, track and plan for risks, issues, dependencies, resourcing and contingencies
  • A history of successfully managing multiple vendors engaged in project and vendor-implemented packaged software
Highly preferred skills and capabilities
  • Previous pharmaceutical industry experience as an IT project manager supporting commercial sales, marketing and brand teams
  • Experience working with branded products and relevant supporting technologies highly preferred (Veeva CRM, Veeva PromoMats, and Digital Asset Management platforms)
  • Familiarity with end-end content creation process and digital asset management is ideal, but not essential
  • Proximity to our New York headquarters is ideal, but candidate will be able to work remote most days
