Role Description:

This is a full-time remote role for a Payroll Specialist. The Payroll Specialist will be responsible for payroll administration, including garnishments, payroll services, payroll taxes, and payroll processing. This is a remote role; however, the candidate will need to reside in the Tampa FL area and will be required to meet in person as needed.

Essential Duties:

· Process payroll for multiple clients

· Set-up applicable deductions

· Verify payrolls for accuracy

· Maintains various payroll records such as timesheets, automatic bank deposit authorizations; makes required adjustments through established procedure

· Resolves employee complaints and answers employee questions regarding policies and procedures.

· Process Wage Garnishments

· Responsible for proper completion new hire paperwork, including E-Verify

· On-Boarding Processing

· Job Costing

· Prepare Payroll Package to Client

Qualifications: 

· Certified Payroll Professional (CPP) certification preferred

· 2-5 years of experience processing multiple clients

· Experience with ADP and Paylocity prefeed

· Working knowledge of payroll best practices

· Decision-making, problem-solving and analytical skills

· Excellent organization, communication, interpersonal and prioritizing skills.

· Experience with HR software a plus

· Strong PC/MAC skills including proficient in Excel

· Strong Attention to Detail

· Excellent communication skills
