Our client is one of the nation's largest law firms that provides a wide a variety of legal services to clients throughout the United States and around the world. They are actively seeking an eBilling Specialist to join their ream and provide direct support to the Client Operations Department. The ideal candidate will be forward-thinking, proficient in eBilling platforms, Excel and other Microsoft applications, a team player, and a problem-solver. This is a fantastic contract opportunity that offers a hybrid work schedule, and we are looking to fill the position as quickly as possible.

Responsibilities:

• Coordinate all ebilling aspects for assigned clients including monitoring of submitted invoices, submission of timekeeper rates, and new client/matter setups.
• Review new Outside Counsel Guidelines and ensure proper system setup.
• Participate in monthly rate maintenance for ebilling clients identifying new timekeepers; ensure upload into various ebilling platforms on timely basis.
• Provide assistance to Client Ops members with ebilling issues.
• Determines next step for reduced and rejected invoices.
• Ensure that reduced and rejected invoices are attended to on a timely basis.
• Diligently review status’s of submitted ebills.
• Notifies assigned Client Ops Specialist of invoices to be resubmitted and appealed.
• Monitors progress of invoices to be resubmitted and escalates when necessary.
• Review client guidelines for ebilling restrictions and setup.
• Provide reports and analysis as requested by Partners and Management.
• Proactively seek and identify enhancements to, and maintain current documentation of existing practices.

Qualifications:

• 3-7 years legal billing experience.
• Advanced knowledge of LEDES format standards and UTBMS coding.
• Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and Outlook.
• Strong written and verbal skills.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to prioritize.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines.
• Ability to manage high volume request with great attention to detail.
• Good interpersonal skills in order to work effectively with the Client Operations Team (must be a team player and have superior customer service skills).
• Ability to adapt to cyclical periods, peak workloads, new assignments and deadlines in order to work effectively within a fast paced environment.
• Flexibility to work overtime, as needed, to perform the essential duties of the position.
