Job Description:

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Operation professional to join our dynamic team. The role will focus on all aspects of P&L, including production of daily P&L reporting to senior management, meticulous validation and reconciliation of internal and fund administrator P&L reporting, and coordination with the accounting team and fund administrator to ensure the accuracy and reliability of financial data crucial to the fund's success. The team supports many other groups and functions of the firm including, PMs, Risk, Investor Relations, PM Solutions and PM Analytics. Being well rounded and adaptable is key to success in this environment.

Responsibilities

• P&L Validation
• Conduct daily validation and reconciliation of Profit and Loss statements to uphold accuracy and completeness standards.
• Investigate and promptly resolve any discrepancies or anomalies in P&L data.
• Collaborate closely with internal teams to validate trading activity and pricing information.
• Leverage multiple sources of data including Fund Admin, Prime Broker and Internal.
• Reconciliation
• Perform regular reconciliations of trade positions, cash balances, and other critical data.
• Identify and rectify any discrepancies between internal records and external statements.
• Work closely with the fund administrator to ensure a seamless reconciliation process.
• Coordinate with Fund Administrator
• Act as a primary liaison between the hedge fund and the fund administrator for all back-office operations matters.
• Collaborate effectively to resolve any outstanding issues related to fund accounting and reporting.
• Reporting
• Generate and distribute accurate and timely reports related to P&L, reconciliations, and other relevant metrics.
• Assist in the enhancement of reporting processes to improve efficiency.
• Process Improvement
• Continuously assess and improve back-office operational processes for increased efficiency and accuracy.
• Propose and implement improvements to streamline workflows and reduce the risk of errors.
