Job Description

Our client is a well-established outpatient center located in Manhattan that mainly focuses on providing ambulatory gastroenterology services. They are currently seeking an NP/PA to join their team and conduct patient assessments.

Responsibilities:

• Perform thorough and detailed patient assessments, encompassing a comprehensive review of medical history
• Conduct a meticulous physical examination and order and interpret appropriate diagnostic tests to formulate a comprehensive understanding of the patient's health status
• Offer comprehensive patient education initiatives aimed at promoting health, preventing diseases, and effectively managing chronic conditions
• Provide patients with detailed information on lifestyle modifications, treatment options, medication adherence, and self-care strategies to empower them to take an active role in their healthcare journey
• Prescribe medications and therapeutic interventions following established protocols and under the supervision of physicians. Utilize clinical judgment and evidence-based practice guidelines to determine appropriate treatment modalities, dosages, and durations tailored to each patient's specific needs and medical conditions

Requirements:

• Valid NP/PA License
• Knowledge and/or interest in Gastroenterology
• Excellent verbal and writing skills

Please note- The annual base salary range is $110k to $160k. Actual compensation offered to the successful candidate may vary from posted hiring range based upon geographic location, work experience, education, and/or skill level, among other things. Details about eligibility for bonus compensation (if applicable) will be finalized at the time of offer.
