Key Responsibilities:
• Strong working knowledge of corporate/ structure credit products with an emphasis on
bank loans, trade claims, HY bonds, CLOs CMBS, and Securitized products.
• Execute complex Investments in and out of complex master /feeder structures, CLO,
SMAs, etc
• Manage the workflow processes between the firm, Trustees, outsourced providers,
custodians and our fund administrators
• Overseeing daily/monthly portfolio reconciliation process; investigating and resolving
discrepancies with administrators, internal operations teams, and external vendors
• Implementing the set-up of new investment products (separately managed accounts,
alternative funds, co-investment vehicles, etc.) and asset transfers
• Preparing and coordinating Credit Operations reporting for Portfolio Management, Finance,
and Senior Management
• Review and fine-tune operational processes to continually improve the quality of support to
the credit business, in partnership with Technology, Operations, and other internal/external
groups
• Coordinating with internal and external auditors for the audit process
• Perform special projects and analysis determined by the needs of Senior Management
• Overseeing and reviewing the work of the various administrators
• Liaise internally across the firm with investment professionals, accounting, operations,
treasury, compliance, auditors, service providers, and senior management to provide
portfolio-related deliverables, and ensuring cross-communication of critical information
between departments
• Assist in performing research and providing analysis on a variety of moderate to advanced
operations, accounting, and tax issues or perform special projects
• Coordinate daily with custodians, loan agents, fund administrators, and trustees across all
relevant functions
• Identify and resolve cash, trade, and position breaks as well as any other open items between
systems and external sources (Fund Admin, Trustee, Agent, etc.)
• Become familiar with the accounting and valuation treatment for a variety of asset classes,
including fixed-income securities, real estate, and private equity investments.
• Monitor Corporate Actions via LendAmend and various channels
• Support the review and sign-off to comprehensive monthly accounting packages provided
by the administrator
• Responsible for providing accurate and timely responses on all front office and audit-related
requests
• Monitor and adhere to the various control functions and perform periodic testing
• Performing daily, weekly, and ad-hoc reporting for senior management
• Actively participate in projects and other change initiatives
