Description
ATMI Precast is a leading Midwest Manufacturer and builder of major precast concrete structures based in Aurora, IL .
The QC Inspector A is responsible for checking the quality of all precast panels through pre-pour inspection, post-pour inspection, or laboratory testing.
Responsibilities include:
- Form Inspection - Inspect forms to PCI-MNL-117 tolerance including, square, location of openings, reinforcing locations, embed locations, lifting device locations and general form quality (surface, caulking, cleanliness)
- Check and record all piece part dimensions and report any discrepancies
- Measure and record strand elongations
- Approve finished product by confirming specifications and conducting visual and measurement tests.
- Tag panels with appropriate information
- Complete all fresh concrete testing
- Complete aggregate testing for moisture and gradation
- Ensure lab area is clean and organized
Requirements
Ability to read, write and understand basic English.
Must be able to occasionally lift and move objects up to 50 lbs.
Ability to work in inclement weather occasionally (cold, heat, humidity). Exposure to dust
