Job Title: Benefits Administrator
Type: Contract - 6 Months
Location is flexible. Can be in Westminster office or can be remote. Generally, need the person to work normal business hours (M-F, 8-5) but there is some flexibility (if they need every Tuesday afternoon off or they need to work 7-3, that’s fine). As we discussed, I envision this being 35-40 hours per week.
Pay: $29.00-$31.00/hr
The Benefits Administrator is a temporary position that will report to the Manager, Benefits and will be responsible for administering company benefit plans, including health and welfare, 401(k), FSA, HSA, and leaves of absence. This role requires a strong understanding of benefits administration and excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities:
· Administer the daily operations of US and global benefits and retirement plans
· Manage the administration of leave of absence programs, including FMLA, ADA, and other state and company-specific leave policies. Collaborate with third-party administrator, HRBPs and payroll to ensure accurate leave tracking and record-keeping.
· Provide outstanding customer service to employees for their benefits needs, including managing the ticket queue, answering employee questions and partnering with benefits brokers, carriers and third-party administrators to resolve claims and other issues.
· Manage 401(k) funding and reconciliation.
· Assist in benefits-related projects, such as open enrollment, plan design changes, vendor selection, and implementation of new programs.
· Prepare and analyze reports related to benefits utilization, costs, and trends for management review.
Requirements:
· Must be a U.S. citizen or permanent resident
· At least 3 years of experience in US benefits and retirement plan administration
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
· Working knowledge of employee benefits regulations and compliance requirements.
· Proficiency in HRIS and benefits administration systems; experience in Workday strongly preferred.
· Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, with the ability to explain complex information clearly and concisely.
· Detail-oriented with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
· Ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
