Title: Inventory Specialist - Contractor Onsite

Location: Sun Prairie, WI, 53590

Duration: 12months

Rate:$20.63/hr

Experience:3years

Required skill: Inventory Specialist

Key Highlights:

  • Location: Contractor site (buildings on a lot, not a client's warehouse)
  • Schedule: 1st Shift — 7:00 AM - 3:30 PM

Core Responsibilities:

  • Inventory Management:
  • Track and label inventory used by contractors for WIFI cable and fiber installation
  • Organize and maintain inventory, ensuring accurate stock information and unit identification
  • Unpackage, sort, and stage units for production
  • Use RF handheld devices to receive units
  • Perform cycle counts and audits following company policies and procedures
  • Data Handling:
  • Organize large amounts of data and extract key information
  • Maintain accurate inventory records

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Skills:
  • Strong organizational and analytical abilities
  • Effective written and verbal communication skills
  • Computer and Excel proficiency is a plus
  • Physical Requirements:
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
  • Ability to stand and work outdoors for extended periods
  • Work Ethic:
  • Ability to prioritize workflow and work independently with minimal supervision
  • Continuous improvement mindset
  • Flexibility in schedule

Preferred Attributes:

  • Experience: Familiarity with managing a large-volume, small-part inventory
  • Mindset: Continuous improvement approach to processes and procedures

Job Type: Contract

Pay: $20.11 - $20.63 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
