Express Calibration Services specializes in the calibration of precision measurement and test equipment of various types. We are currently seeking a passionate, enthusiastic Customer Service team member to be based at our Kansas City, Lee’s Summit, MO facility.
Job Summary:
The Service Coordinator (SC) is responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, coordinating service activities, addressing inquiries, resolving issues, and ensuring a positive customer experience. The SC is often the first point of contact for customers and serves as a liaison between the customer and the company and is essential for maintaining positive customer relationships and contributing to a company's reputation. They play a crucial role in ensuring customer loyalty and driving business success through exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
§ Respond to customer inquiries via phone, email, chat, or in person.
§ Assist customers with service quotes, repair estimates, job status, parts, and shipments.
§ Coordinate and process received/completed service work.
§ Communicate effectively and professionally with customers.
§ Provide information about products, services, policies, and procedures.
§ Resolve customer complaints and issues in a timely and satisfactory manner.
§ Follow up with customers to ensure their issues are resolved and their needs are met.
§ Document customer orders, interactions, inquiries, and resolutions accurately in the company's database or CRM system.
§ Determine appropriate solutions and take necessary actions to resolve issues.
§ Collaborate with other departments or teams to address complex customer problems.
Required Experience and Skills:
§ High school diploma or equivalent.
§ 1-2 years of experience in customer service.
§ Detail focused and oriented.
§ Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
§ Proficient with Microsoft Office with the ability to learn new software.
§ Familiarity with customer service software, CRM systems, and office software.
§ Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
§ Problem-solving and conflict resolution abilities.
§ Ability to work in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
§ Ability to complete tasks and projects with minimal supervision.
§ Ability to lift 50 Lbs. unassisted.

High School Diploma with 1 to 5 years experience
Work Conditions:
Normal office and warehouse working conditions, light lifting and maneuvering steps up/down several times per day.
