You will work closely with data engineers, data scientists, and product managers to identify and resolve data quality issues, develop data validation strategies, and ensure that our data meets the highest standards of accuracy and completeness. This role will be responsible for the creation and maintenance of testing documentation, test case design and execution, defect reporting, and analysis of data and workflows to ensure the highest level of end-state data quality and to enhance the value that ATTOM provides to our data customers.What You Will Do
Estimate, prioritize, plan and coordinate testing activities
Create and execute test plans from detailed requirement and design documents
Contribute to design discussions as an advocate for continuous quality improvements
Develop and maintain documentation for data quality processes and standards.
Report defects and follow through to resolution
Work with internal teams to understand current processes and areas for efficiency gains
Analyze processes that support data flows to identify opportunities for data enhancement
Monitor system and data quality metrics and report anomalies with analysis to support resolution proposals
Provide data and process expertise in support of requirements development for client-driven data initiatives
Work with business analyst and development leads to review requirements, specifications, and technical design documents to provide timely and meaningful feedback
Conduct regular data quality assessments and audits to identify and resolve data anomalies, inconsistencies, and inaccuracies.
Develop and implement data validation and cleansing processes to maintain data integrity.
Collaborate with data engineers and product managers to define data quality requirements and standards.
Work with stakeholders to prioritize and address data quality issues.
What You Need to Succeed
Bachelor’s degree in computer science or engineering
Data Analysis experience and Data Testing experience (4-5 years)
Strong SQL skills, preferably with Postgres and MS-SQL
Ability to read and understand complex queries
Solid understanding of relational database concepts
Familiar with ETL tools and concepts
Strong communication skills, written and verbal
Change management and task workflow systems (Vault, VSS, JIRA, TFS)
Prior experience with real estate data a plus
