About the role

We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Chargeback and Collections Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for disputing customer chargebacks, tracking ACH returns, and managing in-house collections. This role requires excellent communication
skills, a strong understanding of payment processing, and a dedication to maintaining positive customer relationships.

About the Team

Auctane’s Finance & Accounting team is responsible for reporting accurate financial reporting to the public and investors, as well as driving strategic and financial decision-making processes across the Company. We partner with Senior Management and business unit leaders to analyze and drive long-term business performance.

What will you be doing?

• • • Chargeback Disputes:
      • Review and analyze chargeback notifications.
      • Gather necessary documentation to dispute chargebacks.
      • Prepare and submit dispute cases within required timeframes.
      • Monitor and track the status of disputes.
      • Communicate with credit card processors and customers to resolve disputes.
      ACH Return Tracking:
      • Monitor ACH returns and identify the reasons for returns.
      • Track and report on ACH return trends.
      • Communicate with customers and banks to resolve ACH return issues.
      • Maintain accurate records of all ACH transactions and returns.
      In-House Collections:
      • Manage and maintain the company’s accounts receivable.
      • Contact customers to collect outstanding payments.
      • Negotiate payment plans and terms with customers.
      • Document all collection activities and customer communications.
      • Prepare and send collection letters and statements.

  What will make you stand out?

  • High school diploma or equivalent with 5 years of experience: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting or related field preferred.

  • Proven experience in chargeback dispute resolution, ACH return tracking, and collections.
  • Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.
  • Familiarity with payment processing systems and software.
  • Ability to work independently and as a part of a team.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
