Audi Bridgewater is a market-leading, high volume import dealership who is seeking an experienced General Sales Manager to join our team. The GSM will be responsible for customer retention and profitability with a particular focus on New and Used vehicle sales, Finance, and Internet sales. The ideal candidate has Automotive General Manager or high-volume General Sales Manager experience with exceptional leadership skills and a proven track record of overseeing the successful operation of the entire dealership.

Responsibilities:

• Plans and implements successful dealership operations.
• Ensure the dealership reaches its profit objectives.
• Provide experienced perspective and help grow a team in areas of opportunity.
• Provide energy and a positive attitude to set the tone for the team.
• Manage inventory, daily tasks of team, and manufacturer specific programs.
• Evaluate trades, interact with service managers, and prepare inventory to sell.
• Maintains CSI at or above company standards.
• Assesses the operations of all dealership departments.
• Track record of developing people
• Works with department managers to improve operations, performance, and profitability.
• Supervises department managers.
• Oversees training and supervision of all dealership employees.
• Oversees hiring and discipline decisions.
• Oversees pricing and inventory.
• Maintains good working relationship with manufacturer and lending institutions.
• Reinforces company policies and adheres to company standards.
• Encourages compliance with applicable laws and regulations.
• Serves as an effective dealership representative to community.
• Oversees balance sheet management.
• Maintains effective employee relations.
• Conducts daily Save-A-Deal and weekly Manager meetings.
