As a Warranty Administrator, you will be responsible for managing all warranty claims and ensuring they are processed efficiently and accurately. This role requires excellent communication skills, strong organizational abilities, and a comprehensive understanding of automotive warranty policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

  • Review warranty repair orders for completeness, accuracy, and legibility, ensuring adherence to applicable policies and procedures.
  • Accurately prepare, flag, and submit warranty claims to manufacturers, ensuring timely processing and payment.
  • Monitor and follow up on all submitted warranty claims with manufacturers, addressing any issues to expedite processing and payment.
  • Work closely with service advisors, technicians, and parts departments to ensure proper and efficient completion of all warranty work.
  • Keep current with manufacturer warranty policies, bulletins, and procedures to ensure compliance and accurate claim processing.
  • Follow up with the factory regarding unpaid claims and manage any corrections or charge-backs required.
  • Report and manage any suspected fraudulent manipulation of warranty claims.
  • Provide support to service consultants and technicians with any warranty-related questions or issues.
  • Assist with special projects, audits, and reports as needed.
  • Help with warranty claims schedule(s).

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in automotive warranty administration
  • Strong understanding of automotive warranty processes and manufacturer policies
  • Excellent organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills. Proficiency in computer software related to warranty processing
  • High level of accuracy and attention to detail in handling warranty claims and documentation
  • Ability to handle challenging situations and resolve warranty issues effectively
  • CDK experience preferred
  • Experience with BMW and Audi a plus

Compensation:

The Warranty Administrator Position has a Pay Scale consisting of the following elements and ranges. Wages include Base Hourly Compensation of between $23.00 and $35.00. The position also may also pay a production bonus based on individual or team performance that may range from $0.00 (if baseline benchmarks are not met) without any fixed upper limit.

  • Hourly rate depends on experience. Estimated annual pay range: $47,000-$100,000.
