We have an immediate opening for a friendly, customer-focused professional to join our service team as a Cashier/Customer Service Associate. In this vital role, you will answer phones, take payments, responding to and reaching out to current and former service customers to schedule service appointments, and other adminstrative tasks to support the department.
Successful candidates will be organized with a strong ability to follow-through, be organized, and have a pleasant personality. If you have been successful in customer service or inside sales, this could be a great fit for your skillset. Previous automotive service experience a plus, but not required.

Cashier/Customer Service Associate Duties
As an Automotive Service Administrative Associate, you will be taking payments, answering calls, and making calls to former and current clients to set up service appointments. You will also perform other administrative duties as needed. Exceptional customer service skills are required.
- Answering calls to assist customers and transfer if needed
- Take payments and enter into accounting software
- Setting, confirming, and following up on appointments
- Other administrative duties to support the department
As a Customer Service Associate/Cashier, you will represent Sunset Automotive Group and help to maintain our stellar community reputation of honesty, integrity and superior customer service. It is also important that you display excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
The ideal BDC Associate will also have:
- Proven track record in customer service; automotive experience is helpful, but not required
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Friendly personality and the ability to establish rapport and build relationships to ensure repeat customers
- Strong follow-through and organization
- Computer proficiency
- Basic math skills
- Experience with multi-line phone systems
