  • This position is not open to international candidates, and does not offer relocation or per diem.
Audubon is currently seeking a Project Manager to be part of a project team working onsite at a client's plant in Channelview, TX. The Project Manager will support local/regional projects within the chemical, petrochemical and downstream sectors.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Key Areas of Responsibility will include:
  • Provide project leadership under the general supervision of a Project Director.
  • Report on the status of the project to a Project Director.
  • Coordinate with Project Controls on the schedule and budget for the project.
  • Determine staffing requirements and direct design team personnel.
  • Maintain communication on all aspects of the project and meet key project indicators developed as part of the execution of the project.
  • Develop Project Execution Plan and ensure it's followed during the life of the project.
  • Oversee change management process.
  • Coordinate development of proposals while adhering to schedule demands and solving conflicts.
  • Provide management reports.
  • Provide subject matter expert advice on design processes and/or construction methods.
  • Participate in review and improvement of company's project management best practices.
  • Ensure a safe work environment and a safe design, per client safety guidelines.
  • Additional duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE AND SKILL REQUIREMENTS :
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required for the position:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Chemical Engineering.
  • Previous onsite experience in managing chemical, petrochemical and downstream projects required.
  • 7 years' experience in project management.
  • Previous field experience.
  • Ability to execute a project and manage from start to finish.
  • Knowledge of stage gated process.
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite.
  • Team player with strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Brownfield Project Management experience preferred.
