- Risk Assessment and Management:
- Identify potential risks and threats that could impact business operations.
- Perform risk assessments and develop strategies to mitigate identified risks.
- Crisis Management:
- Develop and implement crisis management protocols.
- Coordinate crisis response activities and serve as the primary point of contact during incidents.
- Training and Awareness:
- Conduct training sessions and workshops to educate staff on business continuity and disaster recovery procedures.
- Promote a culture of resilience and preparedness across the organization.
- Testing and Drills:
- Plan and execute regular business continuity tests and drills to ensure readiness.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of tests and drills, and implement improvements based on findings.
- Collaboration and Coordination:
- Work closely with various departments to ensure business continuity plans are integrated and aligned with overall business objectives.
- Liaise with external partners, vendors, and government agencies as needed.
- Documentation and Reporting:
- Maintain detailed documentation of business continuity plans, risk assessments, and incident reports.
- Provide regular updates and reports to senior management on the status of business continuity efforts.
- Regulatory Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, standards, and best practices related to business continuity and disaster recovery.
- Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Risk Management, or a related field. A master’s degree is a plus.
- Experience:
- 2-5 years of experience in business continuity, risk management, or a related field.
- Technical Skills:
- Strong knowledge of business continuity and disaster recovery principles.
- Proficiency in risk assessment methodologies and tools.
- Familiarity with relevant regulations and standards (e.g., ISO 22301).
- Soft Skills:
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
- Leadership and project management abilities.
- Certifications:
- Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or similar certification is preferred.
