Experience Level: 2-5 yearsJob DescriptionAs a Business Intelligence (BI) Manager at Augmentjobs, you will lead the development and implementation of business intelligence solutions that drive strategic decision-making. You will oversee the creation of data-driven reports and dashboards, and ensure the accurate analysis of business metrics to support organizational goals. You will work closely with various departments to understand their data needs and provide actionable insights to optimize operations and performance.Key Responsibilities
- Data Analysis & Reporting: Design, develop, and maintain BI solutions including dashboards, reports, and data visualizations. Analyze complex data sets to identify trends, patterns, and insights.
- Strategy Development: Collaborate with leadership to develop and implement BI strategies that align with organizational goals. Provide recommendations based on data analysis to drive business improvements.
- Team Management: Supervise and mentor BI analysts and developers. Coordinate team efforts to ensure timely delivery of BI projects.
- Data Integration: Oversee the integration of data from various sources into the BI system. Ensure data accuracy and consistency across all platforms.
- Stakeholder Collaboration: Work with stakeholders from different departments to understand their data requirements and deliver tailored BI solutions.
- Tool Management: Manage and optimize BI tools and technologies. Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in BI.
- Quality Assurance: Ensure the integrity, accuracy, and reliability of BI reports and analyses. Implement data governance practices to maintain high data quality.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., Certified Business Intelligence Professional) is a plus.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in business intelligence, data analysis, or a related field. Experience in a managerial role is preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in BI tools such as Tableau, Power BI, or Looker. Strong knowledge of SQL and experience with data warehousing concepts. Familiarity with ETL processes and data integration tools.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Ability to present data-driven findings and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- Leadership: Proven leadership abilities with experience managing a team. Ability to mentor and guide team members effectively.
