- Financial Strategy and Planning:
- Develop and execute the company's financial strategy in alignment with its overall goals and objectives.
- Lead financial planning, forecasting, budgeting, and reporting processes.
- Monitor and analyze financial performance against key business metrics and benchmarks.
- Financial Management:
- Manage the company's financial operations, including accounting, financial reporting, treasury, and tax.
- Ensure accurate and timely financial statements and reports are prepared in accordance with GAAP or relevant accounting standards.
- Oversee cash flow planning and management to ensure availability of funds as needed.
- Risk Management:
- Identify and manage financial risks and opportunities for the organization.
- Develop and implement policies and procedures to mitigate financial risks.
- Ensure compliance with financial regulations and standards.
- Strategic Leadership:
- Provide strategic financial input and leadership on decision-making issues affecting the organization.
- Evaluate and advise on the financial implications of long-term and short-term strategic plans and operational decisions.
- Investor Relations and Funding:
- Manage relationships with investors, stakeholders, and financial institutions.
- Participate in fundraising activities and secure capital as needed for growth and operations.
- Team Leadership and Development:
- Lead and develop a high-performing finance team.
- Mentor and coach finance staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
