- Oversee the management of IT infrastructure, applications, and services to ensure they meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
- Lead and mentor the IT department, including recruiting, training, and developing team members.
- Manage IT budgets, ensuring cost-effective investments in technology and resources.
- Drive digital transformation initiatives to enhance business operations and customer experiences.
- Evaluate and implement emerging technologies to maintain competitive advantage and operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with other executives and departments to identify technology needs and opportunities for innovation.
- Ensure robust cybersecurity measures and data protection protocols are in place.
- Develop and maintain relationships with technology vendors, partners, and stakeholders.
- Monitor IT performance metrics and provide regular reports and updates to the executive team and board of directors.
- Proven experience as a CIO, IT Director, or in a similar senior IT management role.
- Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, applications, and security practices.
- Experience with IT strategic planning, digital transformation, and project management.
- Proficiency in budget management and resource allocation.
- Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to analyze complex problems, develop innovative solutions, and manage change effectively.
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred. Advanced degrees and relevant certifications (e.g., CIO Certification, PMP) are a plus.
