- Risk Assessment and Identification:
- Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and scenario analyses to identify, evaluate, and prioritize risks across various business units and functions.
- Monitor emerging risks, market trends, and regulatory changes that could impact the organization's risk profile and strategic initiatives.
- Risk Mitigation and Control:
- Implement risk mitigation strategies, controls, and frameworks to minimize exposure to identified risks, including credit risk, market risk, operational risk, and strategic risk.
- Develop contingency plans and business continuity strategies to address potential disruptions and ensure resilience in adverse scenarios.
- Governance and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, industry standards, and internal policies related to risk management and corporate governance.
- Collaborate with legal, compliance, and internal audit functions to maintain effective risk oversight and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
- Reporting and Communication:
- Prepare and present risk management reports, assessments, and findings to the board of directors, senior management, and stakeholders.
- Communicate risk exposure, trends, and mitigation strategies effectively to support informed decision-making and strategic planning.
- Stakeholder Engagement and Relationship Management:
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including executive management, board members, regulators, and external auditors.
- Provide guidance and advisory support on risk-related matters, fostering a risk-aware culture and promoting accountability throughout the organization.
