- Financial Modeling: Develop and maintain financial models to evaluate the financial impact of potential transactions, including mergers, acquisitions, and partnerships.
- Due Diligence: Perform thorough due diligence on prospective business deals, including analyzing financial statements, assessing operational capabilities, and evaluating strategic fit.
- Transaction Support: Assist in the execution of M&A transactions by supporting negotiations, coordinating with legal and financial advisors, and preparing necessary documentation.
- Reporting: Prepare and present detailed reports and presentations to senior management, highlighting key findings and recommendations.
- Strategic Planning: Contribute to the development of strategic plans and initiatives by providing data-driven insights and recommendations.
- Cross-functional Collaboration: Work closely with various internal teams, including finance, legal, and operations, to ensure alignment and smooth execution of corporate development activities.
- Educational Background: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business Administration, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degrees or professional certifications (e.g., CFA) are a plus.
- Experience: 2-5 years of experience in corporate development, investment banking, management consulting, or a similar role.
- Financial Acumen: Strong understanding of financial statements, financial modeling, valuation techniques, and M&A processes.
- Analytical Skills: Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret complex data and provide actionable insights.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex information clearly and effectively to senior executives.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Technical Proficiency: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, and financial analysis tools. Experience with financial databases and software is a plus.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively within a team and build relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Experience with strategic planning and business development.
- Familiarity with industry-specific regulations and compliance requirements.
