Responsibilities
- Design and implement structured finance products, including derivatives, to meet client needs and manage financial risks.
- Perform quantitative analysis and financial modeling to assess the viability and risk profiles of various financial structures.
- Collaborate with clients to develop tailored solutions that align with their strategic goals.
- Conduct market research to stay informed of the latest trends and developments in financial markets and structured finance.
- Prepare detailed reports and presentations for both internal stakeholders and external clients, explaining complex financial structures and their benefits.
- Work closely with legal and compliance teams to ensure all transactions meet regulatory requirements and ethical standards.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously, from conception through execution and post-deal evaluation.
- Negotiate terms and conditions with clients and other financial institutions involved in structured transactions.
- Provide support and guidance to junior staff, contributing to their development and understanding of derivatives and structured finance.
- Maintain a strong professional network to enhance business development opportunities.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Mathematics, or a related field; advanced degree or professional certification (such as CFA or FRM) preferred.
- 3 years of experience in financial services, with a focus on derivatives, structured products, or related fields.
- Advanced knowledge of financial modeling and quantitative analysis.
- Strong understanding of market risk, credit risk, and the regulatory landscape.
- Excellent communication skills, capable of presenting complex information clearly and persuasively.
- Proven ability to negotiate and manage complex financial transactions.
- Demonstrated problem-solving skills and strategic thinking.
- High level of professionalism and integrity.
- Ability to thrive in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in financial software and Microsoft Office Suite.
