Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough analysis of companies, industries, and market trends to identify investment opportunities and risks.
- Build and maintain financial models to forecast company performance and assess valuation metrics.
- Perform detailed industry research, including competitor analysis and macroeconomic trend assessment.
- Collaborate with senior analysts and portfolio managers to generate investment ideas and develop investment strategies.
- Prepare and present research reports and investment recommendations to internal stakeholders and clients.
- Monitor and evaluate the performance of recommended investments, and provide timely updates and insights as needed.
- Stay abreast of relevant news, events, and regulatory changes affecting the equity markets.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or related field. CFA or progress towards CFA designation preferred.
- Strong understanding of financial statements, accounting principles, and valuation techniques.
- Proficiency in financial modeling and analysis using Excel and other relevant software.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely.
- Highly analytical mindset with strong attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Previous experience in equity research, investment banking, or related field is preferred but not required.
