Our client, American Multinational Mass Media and Entertainment Company, is actively looking for a Financial Analyst to join their team!
***Hybrid (onsite-Thursday's) - 6 Month Contract with potential for extension***
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Prepare participation calculations for Finance team for inclusion in program ultimates
- Track incoming participation statements, perform reviews, and compare with associated audit rights in order to determine the Studio’s position for possible audit engagement
- Review legal agreements and participation statements to ensure accuracy and compliance with contractual obligations
- Assist in cash planning and forecasting for long range participation and residual payments
- Research and resolve guild and third party audit settlements and legal proceedings related to Studio participations and residuals
- Work in team environment on various high exposure FP&A projects for executive understanding and decision making process
- Must be able to work with and analyze large amounts of data
- Partner with other groups to obtain relevant information for related participant analyses
REQUIREMENTS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance or Accounting
- Minimum of 4 years of Finance or Accounting experience in the entertainment industry preferred.
- MS suite experience with a strong concentration in Excel a must
- Strong analytical and communication skills required
