This role is essential for ensuring the financial stability and integrity of potential business ventures and acquisitions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in financial analysis, accounting, and due diligence processes. You will work closely with senior management to assess financial risks and opportunities, providing critical insights that will drive strategic decision-making.Key Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough financial due diligence for mergers, acquisitions, and other investment opportunities.
- Analyze financial statements, tax returns, and other relevant documents to assess the financial health of target companies.
- Identify and evaluate key financial risks and opportunities associated with potential transactions.
- Prepare detailed due diligence reports and present findings to senior management and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including legal, tax, and operational departments, to gather and analyze necessary information.
- Develop financial models to support valuation and risk assessment.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory and legal requirements related to due diligence activities.
- Monitor industry trends and stay updated on financial regulations and best practices.
- Assist in post-transaction integration and performance monitoring.
- Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field. A Master’s degree or professional certification (e.g., CFA, CPA) is preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in financial due diligence, investment banking, corporate finance, or a related field.
- Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Proficient in financial modeling and valuation techniques.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
- Experience with financial analysis software and tools is a plus.
