OverviewWe are seeking a strategic and experienced IT Director to lead our IT department and drive technology initiatives aligned with our business goals. The IT Director will oversee the planning, implementation, and management of our company's IT infrastructure, systems, and services. This role requires strong leadership, technical expertise, and a proactive approach to IT strategy and operations. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in IT management, a deep understanding of emerging technologies, and the ability to collaborate effectively across departments to deliver innovative solutions that enhance organizational efficiency and competitiveness.
Roles And Responsibilities
  • IT Strategy and Planning:
    • Develop and implement IT strategies, policies, and initiatives that align with business objectives and support organizational growth.
    • Lead strategic planning efforts to assess current IT capabilities, identify technology trends, and recommend IT investments and upgrades.
  • IT Infrastructure and Operations Management:
    • Oversee the design, deployment, and maintenance of the company's IT infrastructure, including networks, servers, storage, and cloud platforms.
    • Ensure the availability, performance, and security of IT systems and services through effective monitoring, maintenance, and disaster recovery planning.
  • Team Leadership and Development:
    • Manage and mentor a team of IT professionals, including IT managers, system administrators, network engineers, and support staff.
    • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous improvement within the IT department to enhance technical expertise and operational efficiency.
  • Cybersecurity and Risk Management:
    • Establish and enforce cybersecurity policies, protocols, and best practices to protect company data, networks, and systems from internal and external threats.
    • Conduct regular security audits, vulnerability assessments, and incident response planning to mitigate risks and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Vendor Management and Budget Oversight:
    • Manage relationships with IT vendors, suppliers, and service providers to negotiate contracts, monitor service levels, and optimize IT procurement processes.
    • Develop and manage the IT department budget, track expenditures, and allocate resources effectively to support business priorities and IT projects.
  • Strategic Alignment and Stakeholder Engagement:
    • Collaborate with senior management, department heads, and key stakeholders to understand business needs and priorities for IT solutions and services.
    • Communicate IT initiatives, project statuses, and technical recommendations to stakeholders, fostering strong relationships and alignment across the organization.
