This position involves analyzing financial data, creating reports, and providing insights to optimize operational efficiency and support strategic decision-making. You will work closely with senior analysts and other departments to ensure accurate and timely financial information.Key Responsibilities
- Financial Analysis: Conduct detailed financial analyses related to operational performance, cost management, and budgeting.
- Reporting: Prepare and present regular financial reports, including variance analysis, operational KPIs, and financial forecasts.
- Data Management: Gather and maintain financial data from various sources, ensuring accuracy and completeness.
- Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the preparation of budgets and financial forecasts for operational departments.
- Cost Analysis: Analyze operational costs and identify opportunities for cost reduction and efficiency improvements.
- Process Improvement: Support the development and implementation of financial processes and systems to enhance operational efficiency.
- Collaboration: Work with cross-functional teams to gather financial data and insights, and provide support for decision-making processes.
- Ad-hoc Analysis: Perform ad-hoc financial analyses as requested by management to address specific operational questions or issues.
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, or a related field.
- Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in financial analysis or a related role, preferably within an operations or finance department.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling. Experience with financial software (e.g., ERP systems, SAP) is a plus.
- Analytical Skills: Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex financial data and generate actionable insights.
- Communication: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present financial information clearly to non-financial stakeholders.
- Attention to Detail: High level of accuracy and attention to detail in financial analysis and reporting.
- Problem-Solving: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to think critically and make data-driven recommendations.
- Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively with team members and other departments to achieve common goals.
- Experience: Experience in financial analysis within an operational or manufacturing environment.
- Certifications: Professional certifications such as CFA Level 1 or CPA are advantageous.
- Software: Familiarity with financial analysis tools and databases.
