ResponsibilitiesJob Description:
Lead Research Projects:
Lead and manage end-to-end UX research projects, from study design and planning to execution, analysis, and reporting.
Define research objectives, methodologies, and timelines based on project requirements and business goals.
Coordinate participant recruitment, scheduling, and data collection activities for research studies.
Data Collection and Analysis:
Conduct qualitative and quantitative data collection methods, such as interviews, usability testing, surveys, and card sorting exercises.
Analyze research data using appropriate qualitative and quantitative analysis techniques, synthesizing findings into actionable insights and recommendations.
Utilize data visualization tools and techniques to present research findings in a clear and compelling manner.
Stakeholder Collaboration:
Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, engineers, and marketers, to integrate user insights into product development processes.
Facilitate workshops, design sprints, and ideation sessions to generate user-centered design solutions and prioritize product features.
Research Strategy and Planning:
Contribute to the development of UX research strategies and roadmaps aligned with product and business objectives.
Identify research opportunities and propose innovative research methodologies to address user needs and pain points.
Documentation and Reporting:
Document research methodologies, protocols, and findings in comprehensive research reports, presentations, and deliverables.
Communicate research insights and recommendations to stakeholders at all levels of the organization, advocating for user-centered design principles.
Mentorship and Leadership:
Mentor junior researchers and provide guidance on research methodologies, best practices, and professional development.
Lead by example, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and continuous learning within the UX research team.
Qualifications
Education: Bachelor's or Master's degree in human-computer interaction (HCI), psychology, sociology, anthropology, or a related field.
Experience:
2-5 years of experience in UX research, human factors, usability testing, or related fields.
Proven track record of leading and executing UX research projects in a fast-paced, agile environment.
Technical Skills:
Proficiency in a wide range of UX research methodologies, both qualitative and quantitative.
Strong analytical skills and experience with data analysis tools such as SPSS, NVivo, or similar software.
Advanced proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, D3.js, or Adobe Illustrator.
Soft Skills:
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders.
Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a keen attention to detail.
