- Recommend improvements in supply chain visibility, agility, and responsiveness to mitigate risks and enhance efficiency.
- Procurement and Supplier Management:
- Evaluate procurement practices and supplier relationships to optimize sourcing strategies and reduce procurement costs.
- Negotiate contracts, terms, and pricing with suppliers to achieve cost savings while maintaining quality and reliability.
- Implement supplier performance metrics and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Logistics and Distribution Management:
- Optimize transportation, warehousing, and distribution networks to streamline operations and improve service levels.
- Implement lean logistics principles and inventory management techniques to minimize waste and optimize inventory levels.
