Roles And Responsibilities
- Lead and manage IT projects from initiation through closure, ensuring clear goals, objectives, and success criteria are established.
- Develop detailed project plans, schedules, and budgets to track project progress and ensure adherence to timelines and financial constraints.
- Coordinate resources, both internal and external, to execute project tasks according to plan.
- Identify and mitigate project risks and issues; escalate critical issues to senior management as needed.
- Conduct regular project status meetings and provide timely updates to stakeholders on project progress, risks, and issues.
- Manage project scope, changes, and ensure proper documentation and change control processes are followed.
- Foster a collaborative team environment, motivating team members to achieve project goals and deliver high-quality results.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies, procedures, and standards throughout the project lifecycle.
- Evaluate project outcomes and conduct lessons learned sessions to continuously improve project delivery processes.
- Stay abreast of industry trends, best practices, and emerging technologies relevant to IT project management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s degree preferred).
- Proven experience (X years) in IT project management, managing complex projects with cross-functional teams.
- Solid understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall) and tools (e.g., JIRA, Microsoft Project).
- Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; ability to effectively communicate technical information to non-technical stakeholders.
- Experience in managing project budgets, resources, and timelines.
- Ability to prioritize and manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
- Problem-solving and decision-making abilities with a focus on achieving project goals and delivering business value.
- Certification in Project Management (e.g., PMP, PRINCE2) is a plus.
