Job Description: We are seeking a talented and experienced Telecom Equity Research Analyst to join our team. As a Telecom Equity Research Analyst, you will be responsible for conducting in-depth analysis of companies within the telecommunications industry, providing valuable insights and recommendations to institutional investors, fund managers, and other stakeholders. Your primary focus will be on assessing the financial performance, market trends, competitive landscape, and regulatory environment affecting telecom companies.
Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough financial analysis of telecom companies, including revenue forecasts, earnings projections, and cash flow modeling.
• Evaluate industry dynamics, market trends, and competitive positioning to identify investment opportunities and risks.
• Monitor regulatory developments and policy changes impacting the telecom sector and assess their implications for investment decisions.
• Prepare detailed research reports, investment theses, and presentations for internal and external stakeholders.
• Collaborate with portfolio managers, traders, and other team members to develop investment strategies and recommendations.
• Stay abreast of macroeconomic factors, technological advancements, and global events influencing the telecom industry.
• Build and maintain relationships with company management, industry experts, and sell-side analysts to gather insights and information.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, economics, or a related field. MBA or CFA designation preferred.
• Proven experience as an Equity Research Analyst covering the telecom sector, preferably within a buy-side or sell-side firm.
• Strong analytical skills with proficiency in financial modeling, valuation techniques, and quantitative analysis.
• Deep understanding of telecommunications industry dynamics, including wireless, wireline, and broadband segments.
