Roles And Responsibilities
- Conduct user research using methods such as interviews, surveys, usability testing, and ethnographic studies to understand user behaviors, needs, and motivations.
- Analyze and interpret data from research studies to uncover actionable insights and opportunities for product improvements.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and engineers to integrate user research findings into product requirements and design decisions.
- Create personas, user journey maps, and other artifacts to effectively communicate research findings and insights.
- Work with UX/UI designers to iterate on designs based on user feedback and usability findings.
- Advocate for the user throughout the product development process, ensuring that user needs are prioritized and addressed.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in UX research and incorporate them into our processes.
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Human-Computer Interaction, Psychology, Sociology, Anthropology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a UX Researcher or similar role, preferably in a software development environment.
- Strong knowledge of qualitative and quantitative research methods, including usability testing, interviews, surveys, and ethnographic studies.
- Proficiency in using tools such as UserZoom, UserTesting.com, or similar platforms for conducting remote user research.
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to synthesize complex information into actionable insights.
- Effective communication skills with the ability to present findings clearly and persuasively to stakeholders.
- Experience working in an Agile development environment is a plus.
- A portfolio or examples of past research work demonstrating impact on product development is highly desirable.
