Position Overview: As a Venture Capital Principal, you will play a critical role in driving the investment strategy and execution for our firm. You will lead due diligence processes, build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs and industry experts, and guide portfolio companies towards successful outcomes. This role requires a combination of strong analytical skills, business acumen, and the ability to identify and support high-potential ventures.
Key Responsibilities

• Investment Sourcing: Identify and evaluate new investment opportunities by sourcing potential deals, conducting market research, and leveraging professional networks.
• Due Diligence: Lead comprehensive due diligence processes including financial analysis, market assessment, competitive landscape evaluation, and management team evaluation.
• Deal Structuring: Negotiate and structure investment terms, including valuation, ownership stakes, and exit strategies.
• Portfolio Management: Work closely with portfolio companies to provide strategic guidance, operational support, and resources to help them achieve their growth objectives.
• Industry Analysis: Stay informed on industry trends, emerging technologies, and market dynamics to identify opportunities and threats within the investment landscape.
• Networking: Build and maintain relationships with entrepreneurs, co-investors, industry experts, and other key stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Experience: 5-8 years of experience in venture capital, private equity, or investment banking, with a proven track record of sourcing and managing investments.
• Education: Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Business, Economics, or a related field; an MBA or other advanced degree is highly desirable.
• Skills: Strong analytical and financial modeling skills; excellent negotiation and communication abilities; and a deep understanding of startup ecosystems and venture capital dynamics.
• Attributes: Highly motivated, strategic thinker, with strong leadership capabilities and the ability to work effectively in a fast-paced and collaborative environment.
