As part of our continued growth, we are seeking a dynamic and experienced VP of Security to lead and enhance our security initiatives.Position Overview: The VP of Security will be responsible for overseeing and managing the security operations and strategies within Augmentjobs. This role involves developing and implementing security policies, leading a team of security professionals, and ensuring the overall safety and security of the organization’s assets, information, and personnel.Key Responsibilities
  • Strategic Leadership:
    • Develop and execute the security strategy aligned with organizational goals and objectives.
    • Oversee the implementation of security policies, procedures, and protocols.
  • Team Management:
    • Lead and mentor a team of security professionals.
    • Foster a culture of security awareness and continuous improvement.
  • Risk Management:
    • Identify and assess security risks, and implement appropriate mitigation strategies.
    • Conduct regular security audits and assessments.
  • Incident Management:
    • Manage and respond to security incidents and breaches.
    • Develop and maintain incident response plans and procedures.
  • Compliance and Regulatory Requirements:
    • Ensure compliance with relevant security regulations, standards, and best practices.
    • Liaise with regulatory bodies and maintain up-to-date knowledge of security laws and regulations.
  • Collaboration:
    • Work closely with other departments to integrate security measures into business processes.
    • Collaborate with external partners and vendors to enhance security posture.
  • Reporting and Documentation:

Required Skills And Qualifications
  • Experience: 2 to 5 years of experience in a security leadership role.

  • Leadership: Proven ability to lead and manage a team effectively.
  • Technical Knowledge: Strong understanding of security technologies, risk management, and incident response.

  • Analytical Skills: Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to assess and mitigate security risks.
