Augusta Health Brand is Hiring a Registered Nurse - Emergency Department Near Fishersville, VA

We would love for you to come and join the Augusta Health Emergency Department. We are committed to providing quality care to the patients in the Shenandoah Valley. We see approximately 60,000 patients annually and are a Primary Stroke Center. Additionally, we are credentialed as an ACC Chest Pain Center, providing rapid intervention for those patients experiencing myocardial infarctions. Our Emergency Department has been recently expanded and renovated so we can provide cutting edge technology to all of our patients while delivering improved workflows to foster our already strong teamwork. We would love to have you join us in the Emergency Department at Augusta Health where potential and growth are an everyday opportunity!

We currently have a night shift Registered Nurse (RN) position open in our Emergency Department. The Registered Nurse is accountable for the coordination of direct patient care, education, and serves as a leader of the patient care team. The RN will work closely with an interdisciplinary team to deliver high quality patient care.

Requirements

  • Must be an RN licensed in the Commonwealth of Virginia
  • Minimum of one (1) year of RN experience required
  • Must have a strong desire to work with a high-risk and complex patient population
  • Must have desire to be a member of a dynamic team of professionals devoted to the care of patients in our community
  • Must have solid critical thinking skills and a strong application of the nursing process
  • Must have effective adherence to infection control practices
  • Positive attitude
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Effective time management skills
