Augusta Health is Hiring a Talent Acquisition Specialist Near Fishersville, VA

As a Talent Acquisition Specialist on our vibrant Human Resources team, you will be the welcoming face for new hires, guiding them through a seamless onboarding experience. Your role is essential in organizing and enhancing the onboarding process, managing all aspects of the new hire journey from job postings to offers. You'll effectively communicate organizational details and expectations, coordinate pre-employment visits, process necessary paperwork, handle payroll changes, maintain department files, respond to team member inquiries, and support meetings and events. Your efforts will ensure new team members feel valued and prepared for success from day one.
Education Requirements
  • Associates Degree Required.
  • Experience may be considered in lieu of a degree.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Human Resources, Marketing or related field preferred or equivalent related experience preferred.
Experience Requirements
•3-5 years of clerical administrative experience required.
•2-3 years of public facing customer service face to face, phone, and electronic communications required.
•Ability to maintain important documents systematically required
•Hands-on experience with Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) and resume databases preferred.
•1-2 years' experience in a Recruiting and/or onboarding support role preferred.
•Some experience in HR or in a relevant role preferred.
Skill Requirements
•Extremely detail-oriented with exceptional customer service and follow-through abilities.
•Strong understanding of culture, its role in a successful organization, and respect of existing culture.
•Communicate effectively, both verbally and written, with all levels of staff (peers, management, and leadership).
•Proficient in Microsoft Office products (Word ,Excel, and Outlook).
•Ability to maintain confidentiality related to sensitive information.
•Proven ability to foster good public relations for the department and the organization. Has ability to relate to team members, patients, volunteers, medical staff and visitors.
