JOB SUMMARY: To pick customer orders accurately and in a timely manner.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES (includes other duties as required):
• Ability to read and understand pick labels, work orders and other shipping related documents.
• Ability to pull orders using electronic voice headset.
• Attaches labels to cartons which do not ship with appropriate bar-coded branding.
• Removes carton from line and places in appropriate stock location.
• Assists in any other DC operations areas as needed.
SKILLS/QUALIFICATIONS/EDUCATION/LICENSES & CERTIFICATIONS:
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required. • Must be 16 years of age or older for part time; 18 years or older for full time.
• Must be able to work in fast paced environment.
• Productivity standard of 65 lines per hour or more is required to maintain employment status.
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. • Frequently required to stand, walk; Must be able to walk up and down stairs and work in a three-story pick module.
• Good color vision preferable.
• Must be able to reach with hands and arms.
• Must be able to regularly lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds.
WORK ENVIRONMENT:
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and fumes or airborne particles. The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
WORK HOURS:
4:00AM -12:30PM with two hours of overtime.
DRESS CODE:
Dress appropriate.
